The effect of solid particle size and concentrations on internal flow and external characteristics of the dense fine particles solid–liquid two-phase centrifugal pump under low flow condition

چکیده

In the energy conversion device and fluid transport equipment, solid–liquid two-phase centrifugal pump occupies a large proportion, but mechanism of dense fine particles has not been studied in detail. this work, flow was numerically simulated by mixture model. Two-phase performance tests with different particle concentrations sizes at low rate (0.6Qd) were conducted, dimensionless analysis on effect head efficiency conducted. The results show that increase size concentration can influence coefficient two parameters is greater than whole. will lead to more uneven distribution solid volume fraction pump. absorbs amount energy, which leads relative decrease kinetic liquid phase inhibits generation vortex impeller passage.
